Seer has developed a robust course framework and pedagogy to ensure that its courses meet the industry talent needs. Its course framework & pedagogy has been made as a reference by IESA (Indian Electronics & Semiconductor Association – An industry body). Seer has donated its innovative framework & pedagogy to IESA to improve the quality of engineering education in India.
Seer has innovated a robust course and program framework that has showcased results over the years. This framework starts with defining the Market drivers, job proficiencies, etc. in the industry. These drivers & proficiencies determine the program objectives and learning outcomes. These objectives and learning outcomes determine the program design with the individual courses. Then, for each course, course objectives & learning outcomes are defined. Objectives & learning outcomes of all courses in a program must ensure that program objectives & learning outcomes are achieved.
Seer Akademi has donated its curriculum and advanced pedagogy framework to IESA for use by its Core Initiative Group – Talent CIG (http://www.iesaonline.org/membership/talent_cig_activities.html). This is an effort from Seer to bring big change in Indian Education system. Talent CIG is taking the framework to colleges & Universities for adoption so that the effectiveness of the education system is increased.
A pilot deployment is currently going on in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu using content developed for the NPTEL programme. In the future we envision that the contents will be used by all engineering colleges in India. The seer course frame work has been taken as reference and promoted by IESA
